Dear Parents,

School’s Association

The schools Christmas Fair is on Friday 27th November in the Infant School.  We are very keen to involve as many people in our school community as possible.  We will be having a Christmas Craft market area and if you or anyone you know would like to have a stall in this area to sell their goods then please get in touch via the school office.  It costs £5 to have a stall and we would also like stallholders to donate a raffle prize.

We are looking for donations suitable for the raffle, tombola and the children’s secret Santa room (a place where children can buy gifts for their parents).  We would also welcome donations of good quality toys for the toy tombola.  On Friday 27th the Infant children have a non uniform day and on this day we welcome donations of cakes for the cake stall.

Please come and see me if you have any questions regarding this event or if you would like to help on any of the stalls.  We do need your support to make the event a success.

Parent Interview Week

The teachers of children in Y1 and Y2 will be available for discussions with parents at various times during the week beginning 16th November.  Each teacher will put their timetable up on their classroom window or door for you to sign up against a time appropriate for you.  Please do find time to speak with your child’s teacher to see how well your child is doing and where you can offer support.

Individual Photographs

On Friday 20th November the photographer will be in school to take individual photos of your children.  ALL children will have an individual photo taken and the photographers will also take family groups.  If you would like your child to have a photo with pre-school siblings or siblings from the Junior school then please come to the school hall from 8.30 on the 20th.  We will also arrange for family groups of children in the Infant school to be taken.  The photos will be back in time for Christmas.

After School Multi-Skills Club

We only have a small number of children signed up for this half terms course.  The sessions are run on a Wednesday from 3.15 to 4.15 and the cost for this half term is £28.50.  These sessions are open to children from Reception to Year 2 so if you are interested then please complete a form from Mrs Smith.

Attendance Initiative

This week Bracknell Forest is having an attendance initiative to promote the importance of children attending school regularly and also arriving at school on time.  We will be talking to your children about the importance of being in school on time and every day.  We will also be informing you if your child’s attendance has dropped below 95% this term.  There may also be one or two other surprises during the week.
